Buck Fever Seed Co. was started because of a passion for plotting. It was providing the deer herd and other wildlife the food and nutrients they need, but also building the draw and holding power your property needs.
The goal is to help build the complete plotter. By working hard to formulate a plan that fits your needs as a hunter, but also that works well for your area and soil type. Each property is as different as the person using it.
Each seed blend was developed with a purpose. By using one another in a system can lead to better soil conditions saving you time and money in the long run. This system will also increase the palatability of your plot adding draw and holding power to your property. Our goal is to give you confidence in the seed you purchase!

On the Morning of November 10th I snuck into one of my best stands. The wind was perfect, with cold air hitting me square in the face. I had went in with plans to sit all day. I picked the stand located on a travel route the deer used to get from the top plot and bottom clover plot to a bedding area. The morning sit was slow, but I knew I needed to stick it out. At 11:30 a.m. I looked up to see a rack cresting the hill headed straight for me. As he got closer, I realized the deer was one I had photos of. He was mature and on the list. By the time I grabbed my bow he was 15 yards in front of me. As he turned to follow the trail I mowed earlier that summer. I drew, settling my pin, I gave the bleat to stop him. He was so close he looked directly at me, but it was too late. I let my arrow fly and it found its mark. He bolted and headed back exactly the way he had come. I waited, shaking in the moment of what had just happened. The recovery was short. He just made it over the hill and to the creek at the end of the clover plot. The hard work and preparation had payed off!
